HGUC 1/144 RGM-89S STARK JEGAN

My first build in 2019 the HG Stark Jegan will be an additional to my High Grade GM collection. It is straight build with painted details for actual box design corrections and weathered. I'm using acrylic yellow paint for detailing the exhaust hand brush, painted the thruster bell with Zurc Gunmetal Grey, and Armored Komodo Clear Coat finish. For Weathering I used Tamiya weathering master for the gunmental effect for the grey armors, missile pods, and weapons and I used oil pastel color light green-dark green-brown combination for the light-green parts.

HG 1/144 FA-78-2 HEAVY GUNDAM

Not perfectly done but it a very good looking kit. I should really build in advance so that I have more time to close the seamline on the cannon and in the head. Anyway this are the list of paints I use for this kit.

HG 1/144 RX-78-1 FSD GUNDAM

Not totally painted parts, just the leg details with Grey Tamiya Acrylic and Zurc Grey Gunmetal for thruster bells. For the panel line, I used the grey Tamiya panel accent for the dark brown armors and black Tamiya Panel accent for grey and light color parts. For weathering I used Tamiya weathering Master, used gunmetal for the grey, joints and vents parts and heavily silver for the dark brown parts. I tried painting the orange strips but I used the stickers instead and the decals. I hope you like it!!! See ya!!!

HGUC 1/144 RGM-79SP GM SNIPER II

I used Gunmetal from Tamiya Weathering Master and Dry brushing Silver for scratches. Not really 100% but now I know what the pros and cons for applying weathering effects. Painted parts as follows: Zurc Paint Gunmetal for the jointframes and thrusters, Bosny Metallic Red for Inner Thrusters, Arkcom Gunmetal Black for shield details, and Arkcom Chrome for inner visor detail.

1/144 HGIBO V08-1228 GRIMGERDE

Good day!

I've finish my entry of a local build-off challenge earlier which I need to attend upcoming Christmas build-off and a Star Wars inspired build this coming December.

The rules is similar to Gundam Model Kits Challenge (GMKC) of official Bandai and its more of  basic gunpla build and painting techniques (without modifications) for this build-off.

I'll present to you my HGIBO 1/144 Grimgerde. I achieve this color  by using  Armored Komodo paints.

HGUC 1/144 RGM-89De Jegan Commando

I finally finish my entry for mecha-lounge.com's buildoff challenge GM's VS Zaku's. My base kit is a HGUC Jegan ECOAS type/. Its more of an armored Jegan that can hold heavy damage during operations, with versatile weaponry for long range and short range combat. Hope everyone like it. Thank you and See ya!

HGUC 1/144 RGM-79[G] Ground Type

My third GM collection. This kit is almost perfect interms how bandai design the parts which is really intended just for snapfit display. It requires minimal seamline removal, detailed parts, and very good articulations. Its like a revived version or an origin high grade.

 I painted some parts to be anime accurate and a little bit of weathering through panel washing method. Nice kit, I highly recommend. See ya!!!

8TH MINDANAO TOY CONVENTION 2017

From Monday March 20 until March 26 is the MTC 2017 at Gaisano Mall of Davao which showcases fellow collectors from different toy lines are gathered to showcase Mindanao(more likely Davao Base) toy collections in the Philippines.

RESHOOT: MG 1/100 RX-93 Nu Gundam Ver.Ka

A reshoot my first Master Grade build last 2014, the MG 1/100 RX-93 Nu Gundam Ver. Ka.

This is also my first kit to be painted using spraycan and still one of my favorites. I reshoot it becuase I'm not satisfied enough of my first shoot session of this kit which happen 3 years ago. Enjoy and See Ya!

HGUC 1/144 GUNCANNON (REVIVE VER.)

My first finish kit in this year 2017 the HGUC 1/144 Guncannon (Revive Ver.). This will be my second kit for my Earth Federation Force Mass Produce Mobile Suit. It's not painted but I removed major simline along the Shoulders, head, weapons and backpack. I slightly weathered it using pencil lead for darker edges on the armors. The kit has good articulations and it can post the cannon shot behind the mountain.

HGBF 1/144 BEARGGUY X WAR MACHINE

I present to you my BEARGGUY X WAR MACHINE. The gatling gun is from the HGBF Giant Gatling Gun weapon set, the chain is a zipper, the backpack and the right hand weapon is from the HGBF Hi-Mock, left weapons is from the HGBF Battle Arm Arms weapon sets, and some plaplating.

I used Flat Black, Silver Metallic, and Metallic Ash Grey with Clear Red plaplate for eyes and Clear Blue plaplate for the chest.

I rephotograph / reshoot my old gunpla kit Gundam Virsago Chestbreak because I'm not satisfied to the quality of my earlier shoots of this kit. I also used my homemade light box (maybe I should have a tutorial of how I make my light box and set-up) and some photoshop techniques for post-productions.

HGBF 1/144 MAROON PUTCHIGUY

I asked the owner if I can borrow this lil' tough guy from her to be displayed at the upcoming Mindanao Toy Convention and she gladly said yes. Now I have a decent photo shoot of this guy ! Hehehehe

Glad you like this kit and this is my first time painting into metallic and patients is the answer.

SD EX-STANDARD RX-78-2 GUNDAM

My very first SD kit my SD EX-Standard RX-78-2 Gundam which is straight build and fully painted. For a SD kit, its more detailed but has many hallow parts which sometimes disappoint you especially if you look it on its rear. I find this kit difficult to paint because of the amount of masking from its very small pieces, yet very fulfilling build.

1/144 HGUC JEGAN ECOAS TYPE

This build is the start of my collection of EFF / EFSF HGUC grunt suits. This is not painted because I wanted to preserve its color. I just put light weathering, stickers, and with flat top coat. Next build again!

1/144 HG GM Sniper Azkal

My entry to the #hcbuildoff Challenge held locally here. I end up 5th place but only the 3rd, 2nd and the Champ has the "Bragging Rights" hahaha Congrats to them ( I like their build too and all the participants). My base kit is the HGBF GM Sniper K9, and this is my first time using my airbrush. I like the build-off which fellow participates enjoy the time building together and I learn a lot from our mentors here. Thank You and maybe I'll still join if their is a second build-off.

SCRATCH BUILD REVOLUTION BY BLUBEK STUDIO

Hello! I just ordered a book from Blublek Studio and Hobbymate "Scratch Build Revolution" through dc23-mecharts and this book is fantastic! I intended to have this book as an encyclopedia for building gunpla and I prefer it in english language than other japanese counterparts. 

It is a good book especially to those who want to start scratch building with their gunpla and this the right book for that. It is "first time making gunpla" user-friendly which anyone can appreciate even the pros in the hobby plus it has a free side cutter to it.

Now I'm still in WIP of my HGBF GM Sniper K9 as my entry in a buildoff challenge held locally. I hope I can finish it as I wanted. Wish me Luck! hehehe ! See YA!

6th MINDANAO TOY CONVENTION 2015

This is a late post, but Welcome to the 6th Mindanao Toy Convention 2015 which I with fellow GFP (Gundam Fans Pinoy) Mindanao Exhibit our gunpla collections together with other collectors of toys from Transformers, Lego, One Piece, Star Wars, Marvels, matchbox cars, and anything in between.
It was held at Gaisanao Mall of Davao April 20-26, 2015.
